Israeli Occupation Forces Wound Five Residents, Arrest two others in the West Bank

Five Palestinian residents were wounded by Israeli occupation fire, while a journalist was injured when an IOF jeep tried to run over him in the West Bank City of Hebron. In addition, occupation troops arrested two residents in Jenin and Hebron.

A child was killed today when an Israeli vehicle ran over him in Yatta Town south of Hebron.

Sources added that the child Muntaser Abu Zuhra, 12, was killed when an Israeli vehicle hit him on the main road between Yatta and al-Reehia south of Hebron.

On the other hand, occupation troops, stationed at al-Ras military checkpoint erected south of Tulkarim City prevented today the villagers of Kafriat from reaching their workplaces in the city.

Sources said that IOF soldiers closed al-Ras Checkpoint, carrying out searches to the resident's IDs and their vehicles, furthermore, occupation troops held tens of residents for a long time and prevented them from passing through the checkpoint. Residents were forced to use bypass roads.

Medical sources said that five residents from Al-Shyoukh Town northeast of Hebron were shot by occupation troops with rubber -coated steal bullets, adding that they received urgent medical treatment.

Sources added that, Journalist and Photographer Yosri al-Jamal, who works for Reuters News Agency, badly bruised in his legs when an Israeli military jeep tried to hit him while he was covering Israeli attacks against residents in al-Shyoukh Town of Hebron.

Local sources said that Israeli occupation forces backed by military vehicles and jeeps raided al-Shyoukh Town of Hebron; carrying out a widespread search campaign to the resident's houses. IOF soldiers clashed with the residents of the town and arrested resident Yousif Al Halaiqa, 35.

IOF arrested Saturday evening resident Selah Abeid, 32, from Anza Village of Jenin City while he was on the way back home.

Sources said that Abeid has two female children and a political activist in the Islamic Jihad movement.
