Reporter Abdalla Nurdin Ahmad is the third operations manager working with HornAfrik media who has been needlessly injured by armed groups in the past five years since HornAfrik media started work.

Two operation managers working with HornAfrik were killed in Sanaa, and around Number Afar estates, while on duty. The reason why the gunman, who was armed with a pistol, opened fire on the HornAfrik reporter is not yet known.

But it is assumed that he was attacked because of his opinion, views and his work as a journalist. [Passage omitted]
