 President Jacques Chirac has asked PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas to do all he can to help free a journalist working for French TV who was kidnapped by Palestinian gunmen. Mohamed Ouathi, who works as a sound technician for the French television station, was kidnapped Sunday night in Gaza by three armed men who forced him into a car as he walked to his hotel, other members of his TV crew said. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the kidnapping.
