SAFETY EQUIPMENT
BBC lists

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) issues recommended equipment lists to its staff to help them plan their requirements for working in certain environments. These have been made available to INSI so that this valuable information can be more widely shared. The information is given in individual MS Word documents which you can access below.

The BBC itself can also arrange short term hire of equipment, including body armour, which can be a more cost-effective arrangement for short assignments than buying such kit outright. See the Equipment Contacts List for details.

MS Word documents from the BBC:

Equipment Contacts List

Kit list for jungle environments

Kit list for desert environments

Kit list for hostile environment
