Hebron, 30 April: The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) assaulted on Sunday [30 April] two photographers in the West Bank (WB) city of Hebron. The photographer of DPA, Abd-al-Hafiz al-Hashlamon, revealed that Israeli soldiers, stationed at a military checkpoint in the Old City near Bayt Romanio Israeli outpost, attacked him and the photographer of AFP, Hazim Badr, as they were filming the arrest of the 13-year-old boy Salah al-Ja'bari. Al-Hashlamon said the soldiers beat them with rifle butts and tried to smash their cameras in an attempt to prevent them filming the arrest of the boy. Al-Hashlamon was wounded and suffered from bruises in the chest and received treatment in governmental Hebron Hospital. In the meantime, IOF arrested six other citizens in Bethlehem and Qalqiliyah, Wafa reporters said. Masses of Israeli soldiers arrested Muhammad Sha'lan, 19, Muhammad Nawawrah, 23, and Abdallah Falah, 25, leading them to an unknown location.
