Israeli threats led to the evacuation of staff at Palestine TV on 15 November, according to reports carried by Palestinian agencies on 15-16 November. Independent Ramattan news agency (RNA) said in a dispatch on 15 November: "Palestine TV employees evacuated the building after receiving Israeli threats to bomb it. Meanwhile, Spokesman of the Israeli army Avihai Adri refused in a phone call with RNA to confirm or deny the allegations, saying that the Israeli army officials 'refused to comments on something did not happen yet [as received].' The Palestine TV Channel stopped broadcasting around midnight and evacuated its employees, fearing that Israel would target the building with its missiles." The official Palestinian news agency Wafa, in a report carried at 0115 gmt on 16 November, said Radio and Television Authority Director Atif Isa had said that "the Israeli threat to bomb the television headquarters comes within the framework of the Israeli ongoing barbaric aggression, adding that it is a new attempt to gag the truth and prevent the television from carrying out its national duty of relaying to the entire world the heinous slaughters and massacres that the occupation forces are carrying out day and night against the Palestinian people. He affirmed that the television's employees and journalists are not afraid by this stupid threats and will continue to carry out their duty to their homeland and people until the unjust occupation leaves our land."
