Hebron, 7 December: Israeli occupation forces raided this evening the radio stations Al-Ruwwad and Al-Hurriyah in Hebron, in the southern West Bank. Our correspondent said that a large Israeli military force raided the two stations, conducted extensive searches and severely damaged the content of their offices. The troops arrested Al-Ruwwad's General Manager Abd-al-Jabbar Abu-Isninah, confiscated Al-Ruwwad's transmission equipment and issued a military order closing the station. It should be noted that there are six local radio stations and three TV stations in Hebron that were raided by Israel in the past. A fourth TV station, named Al-Mustaqbal, was destroyed at the beginning of the Al-Aqsa uprising [the second intifadah].
