![]() GAZA CITY, June 5, 2007 (AFP) - Gunmen stormed the offices of a Palestinian press agency in Gaza City on Tuesday, seizing its equipment, employees said. The militants, some of them masked, burst into the offices of Palmedia, opening fire before making off with a computer and television editing equipment, they said. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack, which caused no injuries. Journalists and the media in the Gaza Strip have often been attacked by gunmen in the impoverished coastal strip, which has grown increasingly lawless over the past year. Kidnapped BBC journalist Alan Johnston is spending his 13th week in captivity in Gaza, where an obscure group claiming to hold him has released a video of the reporter with a demand for Islamic militants to be freed.
